We no longer have leaders, in any party. It is time to throw the bums out.

Gone are the days where men of vision, integrity, courage and character where at the forefront of our nation. Now we have a conglomeration of criminals who serve no other interest than to increase their own power, wealth, and our dependence upon them.

The Bill of Rights hangs in the balance at this point. Through parliamentary trickery and slight of hand, we actively have politicians seeking to subvert the Founding Fathers vision of freedom and liberty, to a version of freedom and liberty that means to be free from having to be responsible for oneself.

Wisdom that has been written during our foundational years is extremely relevant today, and these quotes read like a blueprint of what we are seeing today:

Benjamin Franklin said Americans would lose their liberty
‘when the people shall become so corrupted as to need Despotic
Government…’

“Sam Adams predicted of Americans, ‘…once they lose
their virtue they will be ready to surrender their liberties to the
first external or internal invader.”

President George Washington warned Americans in his farewell
address, ‘…cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be
enabled to subvert the power of the people…’.”

Government has become a house of whores, and they have no inclination to remember that they are here to serve the population of this great nation. I really believe that these people are criminals. They seek to take from us, and then attempt to sell back to us, what it was that they took from us.

I would argue in this current financial crisis that we are about to experience, that there are many members of congress that should arguably end up in prison. And I am talking about big boy and big girl prison, not some hotel jail. These people in congress have potentially damaged the ability of many Americans to live a life of prosperity. One of the tenets of this country is the PURSUIT of prosperity and happiness, and that pursuit and hard work has potentially been destroyed by these criminals, err…. I mean, politicians.

Thomas Jefferson had extraordinary vision:

At the establishment of our constitutions, the judiciary bodies were
supposed to be the most helpless and harmless members of the
government. Experience, however, soon showed in what way they were to
become the most dangerous; that the insufficiency of the means provided
for their removal gave them a freehold and irresponsibility in office;
that their decisions, seeming to concern individual suitors only, pass
silent and unheeded by the public at large; that these decisions,
nevertheless, become law by precedent, sapping, by little and little,
the foundations of the constitution, and working its change by
construction, before any one has perceived that that invisible and
helpless worm has been busily employed in consuming its substance. In
truth, man is not made to be trusted for life, if secured against all
liability to account.

Thomas Jefferson, letter to Monsieur A. Coray, Oct 31, 1823

Hello??
The quote below is extremely poignant today, and it is something that we need to consider in our current critical state.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Now it is dangerous to consider the notion of extraordinary means to right the ship that we have. However, the situation that we have allowed to occur in our government now requires an extreme resolution. It need not be “bloody”, it does need to have responsible citizens removing the whole of congress. We need to see term limits, we need to see people who have professional experience outside of government seeking temporary positions of duty within our government. We need to remove the criminals that have occupied the halls of congress.

Service in congress is a duty, and should not be a position of high reward because the intoxication that we have allowed our politicians to succumb to is out of bounds.

Where do we start?
By preventing the socialist from gaining entrance to the office of President in this election. That is a place to start.

How have we come so far as to allow a no account political hack, with known and verifiable anti-American associations to get as far as he has. Such a person should not even be involved in our government whatsoever.

We start there, then we throw the bums out. They have become the worst kind of parasites imaginable.

  1. WOW! I’ve been waiting for a techno genius to put up a website calling for the complete cleaning out of Congress. The president isn’t a dictator…the real problem is Congress and every single one of them should be voted out in November and a complete and total new Congress elected. Know where I can get a bumper sticker that says “Throw them all out.”

  2. Now that would be real change and a real revolution.

  3. Thanks for stopping by Susan. You are very correct, every single one of those people in congress do need to go away; and many from both parties need to go to jail. They have all made terrible impacts on so many families, and on this country.

And just look at what they’ve fostered. An atmosphere where people violently disagree with each other over political differences. That is not how it should be, we are all free to disagree; and that is the beauty of what we are supposed to be as a country. From that disagreement, we have real freedom and liberty.

I didn’t have enough time today to post away on some of the republican nutcases that we have to deal with. But in the interest of some semblance of balance and discussion, I’ll have some up tomorrow. One of the great things about disagreement is that it is the perfect opportunity for both parties to learn something.
